UNSUNG HERO

She cries to herself at night
Though you'd never know it.
It hurts but she's up for a fight
Her pain - she'll never show it.

As crystal tears run down her face
She has an iron will to bear it.
Embroiled in a desperate race
She can accurately describe it.

She can withstand a lot of pain
She's an unsung, unknown hero.
Despite the screams in her brain
Her pain threshold we won't know.

Her inner strength is unequaled
But her I must commemorate.
Her will to survive unrivaled
She's undoubtedly really great.
