She's like an English rose
In a secret garden nobody knows
Surrounded by unending greenery
And breathtaking tranquility
Her aura glows for miles around
Try in vain - it can never be found
And what of those sparkling eyes
That captivate and mesmerize
Words can't do poetic justice
Though I say it with hubris
But one must try to write
About a persona so bright
She's coveted from East to West
Perpetual mission - no time to rest
She's not that easy to charm
But the right magic will do no harm
Long after I'm dust and bones
Surrounded by vegetation and stones
Her memory will linger and resonate
A poignant reminder about fate
And to the world we say goodbye
But the heart says a gentle sigh
Overwhelmed with angst and hurt
Taking the bittersweet into the dirt
