LITERARY CLASSICS: The Adventures of Tintin - 01 In The Land of the Soviets

The Adventures of Tintin is a series of 24 comic albums created by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, who wrote under the pen name Hergé. The series was one of the most popular European comics of the 20th century.

Tintin - a Belgian reporter and adventurer - is the fictitious hero of the series and is aided by his faithful dog, Snowy.

The series has gained a world-wide following thanks to Hergé's signature drawing style, well-researched plots, slapstick humour, sophisticated satire and political/cultural commentary.
